I'm gearing up for my trip next week. Anyone seeing terrestrials? I'd love to throw some hoppers. I'll be fishing Allamakee and Winneshiek counties in Iowa. |

its still real early for good terrestrial fishing. they're around but i havent seen huge numbers. If i was gonna throw ants or hoppers i'd probably stick with small patterns.

I saw my first (real) grass hopper about a week ago. Still a bit early to fish those. But Crickets are a good bet if the sun is off the water.
