Sandhill crane! That's awesome, looks like an adventurous weekend!

I don't have quite as many, but here's some from Saturday (5/2)
Found a really nice brook stream that was loaded....no larger than 10-12 inches. This was 11 inches. The sun went down on us, or else we would have fished another 2 hours on this stream.

Here was our rental "houses". It was a bit rustic but you can't beat the price.

We started the day on a good Brown trout stream. It was slow early on, but got better as the day progressed. Our largest (not pictured here) was 16 inches on this stream.

Both of these were about 14-15 inches

Had a great time as always, great weather. Looking forward on making a return trip in the Fall.

Nice pics. I'm really jealous since I wasn't able to get out this weekend, and now I must look at everyone's weekend adventures.

GORGEOUS brook trout! Feel free to give me the exact location of this stream!Laugh

I can't believe I didn't get a better picture of that crane...he saw me before I saw him and started stalking off immediately...kept walking behind trees and such right when I tried to get a decent shot. First time I've seen one of those up close on a stream like that - very cool.

Hey thanks for the report - great looking brook. What areas or counties did you fish?
