Hello all,

Anyone fishing in the area can expect to find a brand new river everywhere ya go. New log jams, new bends, new pools, scoured bottoms and medium/high water volumes. I have had some mixed success recently. Shebs and I had fun catching just four fish, but this was the first sense of homeless or displaced trout from the 12" + of rain over the past week and half in the area. Things will settle and I am looking forward to "new" fishing the rivers. A few pics and if ya hit my web tab you can see recent video.

Happy Fishing

R

Looks like a Korkers removable sole that some poor guy lost in the muck one day.

That would be my korker's removable sole...the hook on the heel is tearing from the boot, making the soles even MORE likely to fall off...
and now the BOA wire on one of the damned things is broken too. POS boots. got less than 6 months out of 'em and they're coming apart everywhere. ThumbDown

worth a shot.
I'm pretty rough on my gear, but it blows my mind how badly these things came apart. the upper gets torn to shreds by the wire, the wire breaks, the soles fall out, the rubber soles wore through after a few outings, the heel rips apart...about the only thing still together is the toe.

I sent a picture to Taylor where the wires were all sticking out - and his response was "Looks like a depressed catfish."

I'd say that about sums it up

A guy I work with has had the same experience. He has gotten new ones from them and plan to use them until they stop shipping them for free. He said he will likely switch over to the Simms Vapor like I have next.

Contacted Korkers, and they told me to go to the store for an exchange. The style I had was discontinued, but Dick's gave me a pair of this year's model for the price difference (I bought 'em on clearance, like just about all my gear lol). New boots for 20 bucks, and my one year warranty is now reset. Plus, this years model has actual laces instead of the shitty BOA, so that's a win for me. Now I just have to make sure I destroy these within a year and I'll have perpetual (shitty) boots!
