The 2016 Coulee Region TU banquet is February 26 at the Cedar Creek country club in Onalaska. Tickets are $40 or $20 for those who are 18 and under. The food is always top-notch from Cedar Creek and there will be plenty of prizes that could go home with you. All proceeds from this event are used by CRTU for local stream improvement projects. Doors open at 6 p.m. and food is served at 7.

More information can be found at www.couleeregiontu.org or you can purchase tickets online here. If you'd rather just mail in a check, send it to me at the address below.

Any questions? Find me at curtrees@gmail.com or 608-317-3747.

Thanks for your support of TU and any other outdoor conservation work you do!

Bumping this thread again. Would love to see any of you DTA folks at the banquet on 2/26 at Cedar Creek in Onalaska.

Tickets are typically $40 each, but order at the Eventbrite site and use the code "dta" and get the tickets for $35 (or $15 for those 18 and younger). You could also mail a check to me.

One last shameless promotion. Still tickets available if any of you DTAers are looking for something to do on Friday night.

My dad in South Dakota just donated a guided walleye trip as one of our prizes.

It was a good night. We had approximately 100 attendees and Cedar Creek treated us well. Room was ready to go, the food was good, served on time, and the bar staff provided good service.

We sent home more than a 100 different prizes through our raffles and drawings. Rick Kyte build a 6'6" 2wt and those tickets were gone within an hour. Sadly, I did not win that. The GoPro camera was also big hit. Virg Beck was on hand and custom painted a brookie that went home with 12 year old Gavin S from Onalaska. Gavin got to pick the fly in the painting and he went with a pink squirrel. Our grand door prize was a Simms pack filled with a bunch of gear and a box of flies. That was donated by DA's Mat and Geri Wagner. Proceeds from our tickets and prizes will all go toward stream conservation and youth outdoor activities here in the Driftless.

Duke Welter and Jordan Weeks talked to our attendees about what is happening in the trout world here in the Coulee area.

All in all, a very good evening.
