Here's an interesting story about fishing opportunities in Juneau, Sauk and Columbia counties (Wisconsin).

Although not much is mentioned about Trout, it does talk about some interesting restoration and stocking efforts in the area. Glad to see Lake Delton finally returning to the fishery it once was. I used to catch Bluegills there by the bucket load back in the 70s with a bobber and a can of red worms.

Thanks for posting this. My grandmother grew up 200 yards from the Little Lemonweir. Her father and brothers used to fish it weekly and, according to the one surviving sibling, caught several Browns over 6 lbs in the late 30s, along with plenty of 2 lb Brook Trout. He was overjoyed when I returned from the creek with several fish last July, he had thought the Trout were gone.
