Sorry guys they fight hard but I just do not like them. They a ways look at you with evil eyes and they seem to be smiling all the time. With a hook in your mouth you would think it would hurt. It's the smiling all the time that is creepy!

Nice job on catching them.

Wow, his belly is almost flourescent, I have not seen that before. One of the coolest things I have seen was a dogfish laying on the bottom when we were shooting carp at night under the lights. The back fin waves rhythmically, which is pretty cool.

Dozen Dogula by now. Pretty fun. Took my boy with. Another pole with worm for mixed bag which ended up being this sunfish and sheepshead (not photographed). Turns out he likes catching the chubs the best. He is my bait man. We even tried the brown trout spot for 20 minutes but no takers. Too early in the day.

Those dogfish look so freaking cool. I want to catch one!

Since this thread has already been hijacked and it's topic muddled, I'll add this pike. My biggest yet on a fly rod, 30" ... big break from trout lately and I have not regretted it.

I was fishing for panfish so no big net or stringer. I had to gill it and hold it down under my sandeled feet in my kayak on the way back to the launch Blink

I also learned to fillet the snot rocket. Good eating!

Any of you every try eating dogfish??
