Gonna be there this Saturday, and was looking to get out for a bit that morning.

Don't have a lot of time, so wanted to make the drive worth it, and hopefully short.

Looking at the Little LaCrosse, Spring Valley, or something similar.

Any advice is appreciated.

Pre-advice swap: the Madison area warm water rivers are still running high and tricky to fish. Been a weird year.

The Timber Coulee system and the upper part of the West Fork Kickapoo are always a good bet. Billings Creek is close to Tomah. As is Burns Creek and Hall Valley Creek (although I've never fished either).

Good luck!

The Little Lacrosse at Leon will need at least 3 days to clear after a rain.
