Agreed. Just bought a golf membership and threw all my gear away. #blasphemy More positive news, just got a call from a nice lady from Soldiers Grove who said she had my card after finding it at the Kwik Trip in Viroqua. I had already canceled it, but nice to hear from such an honest person. Edited by user Monday, May 8, 2017 10:17:18 AM(UTC)

Got in a few hours on Saturday on a Waupacka county stream. I caught 8 Brookies in 2 hours. About average for that stream. Found a leak in my waders.

As did I... Shrinkage was a slight issue on Saturday, at least until that 15 hit |

I was down in Lake Geneva for the weekend to visit the parents and I was lucky enough to sneak away Sunday morning for some fishing. Gurth lives down in the Madison area so I bugged him for a spot and he didn't disappoint. I seriously owe him big time as he put me in a great spot with some great fish... and brookies. Which I've never caught before There wasn't a person there and I had an awesome time. Thanks Gurth!!! First Brookie!!! This guy was also lurking in there. Just a bit under 18 and seriously brown. That's a very solid first brookie. Glad you had a good time. |

Had to go to Janesville for a high school sporting event tonight and stopped along the way to scout a stream that's between here and there. Wanted to see it it looked worth a trip to. Checked out a spot right in a town and pulled this solid 14 incher out. 5 minutes. 4 casts. 1 trout. Perfect. Think I might hit that stream this weekend. |

A nice Brookie and a 18" Brown? That's a pretty good day in my book. Well done! -Bill |

I pretty much got owned by stillwater brookies all weekend. And people say they're stupid fish...I have a hard time agreeing with that when they're turning down size 20 midges and size 16 scuds.
