^ Cool!

All the times I have been up there, it really never crossed my mind to look for trout. Confused

Here is a 24 a couple of weeks ago. I went to this spot with crawlers to catch chubs for bait for dogfish. The chubs were not biting but this guy did. Literally five minutes before a major downpour. The sky turned black, everything got still and then the line ripped out. This fish went everywhere. Kicking like a dolphin. He was a fun fight. No net. No tripod. I hate the fish in the hand shot but oh well.

Nasty looking hook-jaw on that beast. Well done Mark!

Solid 18" fish, fought like a 20. He was eating chubs 30 minutes before sunset, very cool sight.

Had a good weekend camping with my family and friends in Vernon County. Didn't catch any memorable fish, but the weekend was perfect.

My Fathers Day gift was a new net after losing my net on opening day. I love the net, but it sure makes my fish look small. :)
