Fished a couple of Iowa county streams this morning. Gave Hoppers a try and landed six (four Browns and two Brookies) using a size 12 Pink and Brown Moorish pattern. A larger Brown broke off my best Hopper by ducking under a rock. The Trout were definitely looking up with the water clearing. Getting the fly into the water with the gusting winds and the overhanging weeds was a big challenge.
