I truly don't know what the best line for your Imperial will be, but if you asked me, I'd look for a true-to-weight 4 weight double taper floating. I like the DT's for the Driftless area because of the brush that surrounds so many local streams, and DT's are, in my opinion, easier to roll cast. St Croix recommended Scientific Angler GPX in WF-5-F, which is, obviously, a weight forward line.
