Thanks, Mark and Tony, the site looks great. If I were to have a suggestion, it would be to give folks the option to show if they're on the web site so others can see and perhaps use the shoutbox for conversations.

I'll definitely contribute at Trapfest.

On the main page at the bottom there is a section called Information listing active users. I hope you can see this. I have hidden myself in the past but might unhide now that we have this feature.

Glad to see things up and running. Looks great.
“If the trout are lost, smash the state. More than any other fish, trout are dependent upon the ambience in which they are caught… At the first signs of deterioration, this otherwise vigorous fish just politely quits, as if to say, ‘If that’s how you want it…’”

I see that today is my DTAnniversary.

Had been fishing for trout most of my life, but finding this forum spurred me to my most active season ever – fished at least for a bit almost 100 days.

Trout fishing is a niche pursuit, even within the greater fishing community. And for me, a mostly solitary venture – which is fine, I prefer to have the stream to myself.

I've got a few buddies who go out a few times a year, but no one as rabid as me.

Glad this is here. Glad it's been fixed.

Thanks to Mark and Tony and especially, thanks to the community for the online camaraderie.

This has been fun.

And of course I'll be making a donation.

Pulled the site up on my phone during the bus ride to work today and was plesantly surprised. Will check the gofundme when I get a chance and help out.

Thanks for keeping this going, it's a great place. And now that I'm not only lurking, I'm excited to be more involved in the community.

Welcome to the board Bowl of Mush! I see you're in Eagan so we might be neighbors. I'm by Lexington and Diffley. How long have you been trout fishing?

So the members are aware.

My friend Tony put in a full day's worth of work. We went from a shared server on Go Daddy to cloud based computing. We are upgrade to the new version. This SSL database can grow on Microsoft Azure's cloud. Go Daddy limited SSL databases to only 100MB and we outgrew that a long time a go.

Tony could have most easily just set up a new board from scratch and that would have been way easier. However all the data was fixed and migrated. We are on the latest version of the software. Migrating the data and fixing the password rest (was previously broken), making this mobile friendly. The whole nine yards Tony did a fantastic job if you ask me. Nobody didn't even have to reset their password to get to the new website.

In short, it was an incredibly smooth transition but only because of Tony's hard work.

ALL of the donations will go to Tony. He got this site up and running and he also just gave it a brand new face lift. he has supported the banner graphics and countless other problems we have had over the years.
