I think i should wait till a day or two after a rain, having a higher water level and a stain would really help! and it is pretty amazing finding trout in water you would never expect. The first time i was at the stream i thought it would be a bust!

That is some real guerilla fishing there Randy! Great job of guiding that Trout around and out of those snags. You could never get in there with a fly rod.

Here's a video of a guy working some narrow overgrown streams fishing hoppers. Note how the strikes come within moments of the fly hitting the water. Also note at the end of the video of him executing the advanced technique (that I have perfected) of falling head first into the stream.
