There are rivers that are always fishable, but Grand Sable Lake is a cool one in that it has natural Brookies and Splake swimming around. Brevort Lake has Musky and some jumbo Perch. Munuskong Bay on Lake Huron has Musky and Walleye as well. The Trout Lakes change a bit year to year but around the Two Hearted there are a cluster of them.

E Tahquam should be just fine after a storm high in the Watershed, and Driggs is supposed to be good after heavy rains. UP Systems handle rain much better than most Driftless Stuff. Pine River by Kinross does not handle rain well whatsoever, just because it’s alwats stained, but the Carp handles precipitation very well.

Not really for this time of year Trout wise. The Carp and Two Hearted will both have Steelhead right now so I’d try for those.

Are they wadable?

They are generally wadeable but exercise plenty of caution on both, I’m sure they both have plenty of meltwater in them rn. The Two Hearted handles melt better but I’m not sure you can make it back in there yet. The Carp has a nice park right near the mouth with a couple nice pools as you head up.

I guess I'll just have to check it out and see how it goes. Thanks for the tips!
