MN was the rock capital of the world from 80-90. i can't say enough good things about the 'mats. it's amazing westerberg is still alive. tommy stinson has had a career rebirth too which is great for him.

Produced one of my favorite debut albums, Superstar Carwash from the Goo Goo Dolls. They actually rocked fairly hard through A Boy Named Goo before they focused on softer stuff.

Early 90s?

Just had a conversation about mixtapes with my 15 year old. He was fascinated with the concept. While we had CDs and CD players, CD burners cost a bazillion dollars. What took us hours to do then can now be done in less than 2 minutes by making a playlist on a music app.
