All in all, I agree with most everyone on rankings of fish, at least for those that I have knowledge of catching. To the OP, that's quite a hefty bass, nice catch. My son recently sent me a pic of a similar sized SMB that he caught while trout fishing where he lives in MI. This particular creek he fishes has quite a population of creek chubs and some marginal frog water, but is known locally to produce some big brownies as well.
