Hello everyone,
Has anyone fished the fished the Cannon river while wading, the spot I am interested in is below the dam at Cannon falls until Welch, I would be targeting small mouths and anything else that bite. So has anyone waded of canoed this stretch and can comment on how shallow or wade able it is? Thank you!

I've floated part of it in a drift boat and fished it from shore in other spots. I probably wouldn't bother wading it simply because there are better ways to fish it. If you are dead set in wading it I would wait for super low water conditions before you do a scouting mission. ThumpUp
