I know in MN you can't leave the stream banks, but what can you do if there is a man made obstruction over the river? For example, a field road with multiple small metal culverts running under it. I'm wondering if in this case it is legal to go over the road? It is my understanding that anything on a lake is public, i.e. duck blinds, docks, etc. My guess is that it is legal to go over the road, as long as you can get on it while still remaining within the stream banks.

Meanwhile, I will try and get hold of the property owner as to not need to know all this.
