I feel like she's self-absorbed at times and yeah, she's cute and all that but so are millions of women.

I can't stand the Trout Porn and fishing girls crap - not that she's a part of that. She can legitimately fish circles around me, not that that is a major benchmark of course.

Anyway... I digress.

I find her podcast to be one of my favorite things to hear in that medium. The variety of outdoors people she interviews makes for some great listening as they discuss their lives and topical items.

Have listened to most of the past year's casts and have been going back to older ones.

Just heard a 2-parter with Tom Brown III (son of the famous author and also an outdoor skills teacher) and those 3 hours flew by and while what I took from it wasn't directly related to fishing, there were several ideas that I will be able apply directly to my fishing and to my life in general.

Can't recommend Anchored any more highly.

So many fishing podcasts are absolutely unlistenable and I've definitely gone past the point of diminishing returns with Rosenbauer.

Anyway... check it out if you haven't.

The episode with G. Loomis was fascinating too. What a life that guy had.

I agree about the Orvis Podcast. Half of the podcast is beginners asking beginner's questions. Nothing wrong with that, but at this point in my fly fishing career I seldom do I gain anything from them. Some of his guest interviews are good, many of them, however, sound like two buddies sharing an inside joke with each other.

I'll check out April's podcasts. I have to listen to something on my weekend trips from Madison to Lincolnshire IL and back again Monday mornings. Right now I listen to Roadhouse Blues podcast, Roots Rock Radio, and The Drake, occasionally.
