So, turns out I have a bunch of vacation time to burn before winter. Kind of a 'use it or lose it' deal.

Thinking about some October fishing, and a trip to Sheboygan/Manitowoc/Kewanee might be on the list of options.

Anyone have any experience/insights on what I might find on an early to mid-October trip? Probably a bit late for Kings, but Cohos are possible? How about Steelhead or lake run browns?

Still kicking around ideas...so thanks for any info.

I talked to a guy on Saturday that heads out there every fall. He hasn't been out yet but said the rivers are running really high FWIW.

I fish the tribs for steelhead pretty good.
Right now the water is very high and very fast.

The temperature is also a tad high.

I check my spots every couple days.

When I see the first "reds" I will post.

I'd be willing to take you to my favorite spots.
I usually go during the week as I am a very old and frail retiree!
