Do I understand that right that you can still fish in the city/town limits between Oct 15th and Jan 1st?

In what state? In Minnesota, you can fish year round in state parks, beaver, whitewater, forestville, and any others I am forgetting. You can also fish year round in the city boundaries of Chatfield, Lanesboro, Preston, Rushford and Spring Valley. source https://www.dnr.state.mn...ents/event.html?id=59330
