Nice! NG I was talking to a guy in Houston previously lived in MN. Big beer fan. One of those guys who could talk about beer for hours. He told me New Glarus makes a cherry that is the bee's knees. Limited edition. Ever had it? I think I remember seeing it at the store in the brewery but did not buy.

TP Jenn wants to do a Colorado road trip and when we do a stop at the brewery in Fort Collins will be a must.

I think you are talking about the Belgian Red. It's pretty good, not really that sweet. I would only drink 1 glass at a time though, definitely not a session beer. Also it's bottled in 750 ml bottles like wine.

My current New Glarus list (in order of preference):

Staghorn Oktoberfest (we stock up in the fall to make it last longer)
Two Women
Snowshoe Red Ale
Back 40
Fat Squirrel
Uff-da
Spotted Cow

Wow Spotted Cow at the bottom? That is their top seller is it not? I like the Cow however in general I'm not really into totally hoppy beers. One NG beer I like a lot is Totally Naked. Very smooth.

Yep, I really like red/brown type of ales more than wheat beers. Totally Naked is smooth, a little too smooth. I feel a little gipped for the price Smile . Don't get me wrong though, I like all of these beers (and more!).

Two Women just came out this spring so we've been drinking a lot of that. A great lager, highly recommended. They suggest pairing it with pan fried trout on their website. I'm sure the wife will be back on the Spotted Cow kick in a month or two though. It's all cyclical.

I love all types of Beer, but I really enjoy Capitol Brewery in Middleton.
