Looks like a pretty good year. Any idea what happened to that buck? Hit by a car?

I assume. it was probably only a few hundred yards off of county II in lax county. I think it was in may or june. probably lingered for a while as it did look kinda of thin for the size of the rack

fished john's coulee creek for a few hours this afternoon. not a fish to hand. I think the snowmelt probably shut the fish down. water felt REALLY cold. nice little stream though. lots of switchbacks and riffle run pools, but so much downfall that it was hard to fish

started at the bridge on YY where it dumps into Mormon coulee creek and fished up to the second bridge. guy drives by me in a Mercedes and pulls a u-ey. pulls up and tells me who's land was below the bridge, that his land was above where it turned to pasture, and blah blah. I explained to him the wading laws for Wisconsin and that I entered and exited at public access points and kept my feet wet. told him I broke no laws. he said, "we'll see" and pulled off as I tried to tell him I was sorry if I upset or offended him.

fished upper stretch of Mormon coulee by KK, but the water was freezing cold and hadn't had a hit or anything all day so called it a day
