Staying at Mararhon Key. This morning I caught this beautiful nurse shark on a live pin fish. 4 oz weight, 60# mono leader and 7/0 hook. Quite the fight. Glad I brought my new catfish set up.

Did you get to feed the tarpon by hand?

Yet to feed the tarpon by hand on this trip. Know of a fish market and restaurant that does this at sunset every night but just not made it there.

Matthew wanted to catch sharks today. First was a lemon shark on a shrimp.

Then we caught a bunch of barracuda on raps (much like fishing for pike) and cut them up to make a blood/scent trail and waited for a nice nurse shark to show up. Lots of Eagle Rays too but they would not bite the cut fish.

Rare scorpion fish. Matt's first catch.

Also this morning I caught this thing. Some type of angelfish. Maybe French angelfish.
