Yeah what blake said, but you can only use it in the same water you caught the fish from. So for example if you catch a catfish or something else you can legally keep out of the WI river, you can use it as bait in the WI river but no where else.

Sorry I guess I knew that. The sunfish for bait for flatheads was explained to me before. I assume sunfish and bullheads best for flatheads. Did not know channels will eat each other. Learning a lot. Thanks for helping out a n00b.
