i managed to catch 2 21cohos and a 18steely out of the same hole. a lil later nico added a splake to the stringer. then we finally walked far enuff to make it to The Dream Hole. nico and i casted about a doen times each...nothing. then i tossed my #5 vibrax into the murky depths and let that phucker sink.. started crankin..then SMACK!! the initial hit was so violent and moved my rod so much that my left hand came off my reel for a second or two.

this fish was so big that she actually managed to take line from me! (a hard task to do with the way i set my drag) i knew then and there i was fighting the fish of the season.
a few breathless big jumps later and i inched her over to nico and he pounced on her... BOOYA!! SUMO FISH 3000!!
im guessin shes somewhere in the 12 pound range.

..so after i landed my monster, nico caught a hawg 24coho male in the very next hole. then landed a beauty 22+steely! final score--the river:2 24+cohos, 2 20+browns vs. squatch and nico:6 resident browns, 5 steelys, 3cohos, a splake, and a GOD-class lakerun brown.
