Was just looking for spots to check out. I typically go out to the Viroqua area for a weekend in March, and am just looking for new places to explore, maybe north of I-90.

Hoping for fairly natural streams without all the onslaught of DNR work--I went to a couple of my staples in Vernon county last year and it felt like a golf course compared to even a year before that.

I appreciate the DNR's efforts, but they over do it some times and it makes the experience less enjoyable.

It's hard to find info on this area online. My guess is it's not heavily pressured and/or the water is hard to access/fish. I'm probably gonna take a day when the season opens just to drive around and check out some of the streams listed on the DNR trout stream maps. Between the DNR trout steam maps and google earth it shouldn't be too hard to find some decent water.

This should help. I second the terrain maps.
