Second day in a row here in SE Wisconsin with snow flurries. Bitter cold too for this time of year with strong winds. Any reports from the Viroqua area on current fishing conditions? These cold nights have to be affecting the streams a bit.

Seems like the weather always goes to crap whenever I plan a fishing trip.

I plan to add to my April thread in a bit. In a nutshell, last night sucked balls.

You going up Bill? I'm leaving tomorrow, butt-crack of dawn, fish my way up to Viroqua. Camping at the WFSC with my TU Chapter guys. Thankfully staying in a nice travel-trailer with a furnace !!! Fishing more on Friday, some with Jay Thurston, again fishing Saturday all day, and finishing up Sunday with an am outing with Jay again. Hoping for some cloud cover...usually on my trips it's blinding sun....thinking of renting myself out to vacationers to guarantee cloudless skies !!!!!! Shouldn't be as cold as the 1fly weekend...... with my luck there will be gale force winds also !!!Cursing

Man, I'm sorry to hear this is your available fishing week! But, you never know what could happen.

Chris: PM sent.

The plan is still formulating. Waiting to hear back from one of my fishing buddies if he can make it or not. But I doubt I'll be getting up real early tomorrow for the drive up. At least some cloud cover forecast for Friday/Saturday. Gonna dig my knit hat and long johns out, just in case.
