Headed out to Grant County, early Sunday morning. Arrived at 8 am and two vehicles were parked at my hopeful spot. So, went up river, about a mile and fished a section till about noon. It wasn't red hot as it was the previous weekend, but, still solid. I caught and released 11 in about 3-1/2 hours. More small fish than the previous weekend.
Then, packed up and headed to Crawford County, for the afternoon. Fished the lower section where County B crosses. Caught four, small Browns, in 2 hours. Lost a fish in the 11-12" range. First time fishing this particular stream. Was a bit disappointed. Didn't seem to have good numbers of fish, but, perhaps I wasn't fishing the best section?
On the way home, took a quick look, at Castle Rock Creek. Perhaps it and the Blue might be worth some time......?
