This isn't were I fished today but I like the picture! Today I went out in search of a hatch and I found it! Fish rose with in a few different rise patterns so I fished a caddis dry followed by a comparadun followed by a BWO CDC emerger on each section of stream with rising fish. As soon as the fish began refusing a fly I switched.

This tough looking bastard came on the comparadun. When the fish hit the caddis they slammed it. This guy sipped the comparadun gently from the surface. When this fish pictured below hit the BWO it was inspected and sipped with even more care.

Fishing today was all about fishing the right species of fly at the right stage of its life cycle at the right rise form. It was difficult picking out the right flies and the ones I chose produced around 20 trout in 3 1/2 hours.

Hope everybody else out there's catching fish.Smile
