On Monday, I went fishin with two college grads from NH.
We spent most of the day comparing Trout management between the two areas.
Rest assured that wisco Trout management is in a much better state.
They had a blast, cachin quality wild Trout on drys.
Alex caught his largest Trout while fishin his Tenkara 9 foot rod using a DanE tied caddis sub-surface. Alex said it was bigger than he ever caught using his Tenkara by three fold- was a hell of a battle.
The two are off to ID to work in the fly fishing industry.
The south fork lodge of the snake river has a very good man workin for them.
I exspect they will return to the heart of the driftless soon.
Upper Timber and the flagship of the timber system did us well, like usual...
