Bought a pair of bamboo rods off of e-bay a couple months back as a lot. I am keeping the one that needs a restoration and selling the one that is pretty nice. (2 kids went into braces since the purchase, so funds needed for that) Looks to have had an amateurish restoration, should fish. Has both tips and the canvas bag. $60, will deliver to Troutstock if anyone is interested.

Based on the limited information I can find, it looks to be a 6 or 7 wt.

Here is a bit more info I was able to find online.

Hi...just checked the 1950 catalog and they list the #57 rod as a "bass-steelhead" rod, so must have a pretty good backbone....singlebuilt construction....tonkin cane..."semi-burned finish. The bass version is 8 1/2 ft....yours then would be the steelhead rod at 9 ft. Hope this helps!

Oh...they recommended D or HCH line....sorry...dunno off the top of my head how that translated to current weights.

And here is a link to the line conversion chart.
