Anyone fished Bear recently? It was pretty slow going there earlier this year. Hopes are that numbers will pick up as the habitat fills in on the improved sections.

BTW: last time I visited Bear Creek the alleyway entrance across from the Fargen farm was being used to get farm equipment across to the other side of the valley. So I wouldn't block that path by parking in the alley. You can park just 100 yards down the road along another farm path next to a field. Just don't block the path and stay off the planted part of the field. Follow the path to the creek.

If you choose to park along Hwy 130, exercise care as the roadway has no shoulder and the slope to the ditch on either side is steep. Do not drive down the muddy path approximately midway - this is a private drive, and you may get scolded by the locals. And the mud is pretty hard on the car:
