Brook trout are such a blast! We stayed cool and the bite was solid.

Great job on two personal bests during one outing! That's pretty impressive. And nice fish to boot!
What was big was not the trout, but the chance. What was full was not my creel, but my memory.

Nick was coming back from western WI and told me how good the fishing was. He inspired me. I got excited to go fishing and gave Eddie a call who did not take any convincing to join me.

Eddie looks like he was dressed more for the March opener than a hot July day!

The long sleeves are for sun and bug protection and when you dip the buff in the cold creek water and put it around your neck it helps to cool you down. ThumpUp

Indiana Jones if you ask me. The guy likes to haul a lot of stuff, just in case. You never know what's around the corner.

Okay, a simple wrong would have done just fine...Laugh

I would be overheating with waders, long sleeves and a full vest. Short sleeves, hip pack and wet wading for me on a day like Sunday!
