Yesterday I caught this seventeen inch Tiger trout while fishing with MNFishHunter in the heart of the Driftless. New record or not I am extremely happy and grateful to MNFishHunter for teaching me his methods and bringing me to one of his secret spots. Also thanks to Trapper and Westby Rod and Gun for hosting such a fine weekend. And to everyone else that made it such an enjoyable weekend. I will elaborate more on my blog soon.

That tiger could eat the one I caught a few weeks ago! Nice fish, Eddie.

Happy New Year!
I enjoy trout. They are never disappointing company. They like the things I like - clean mountain streams , swift moving water, wildness. - Henry Middleton

That's a heck of a fish, Eddie! Great job. Looking forward to the whole story.
What was big was not the trout, but the chance. What was full was not my creel, but my memory.

I've never seen a person so excited and literally screaming it's a tiger! It was a beautiful thing!
