My latest obsession is tying big fly patterns. They're a lot more fun to tie (and easier to see) than say a #22 dry fly. But the downside is they require a lot more space.

Anyone have recommendations for larger streamer boxes that are big enough to hold a decent assortment of 2 1/2" - 5" flies, but not so large that it won't fit in a fly vest pocket? Those large Bugger Barn cases are nice for storage, but aren't suitable to carry around on stream.

I looked at one of those roll up style storage solutions, like the Fish Pond Sushi Roll, but it didn't seem practical to carry in a vest.

I've got the largest 2 sided Cabela's flybox for on the stream. I use a waist pack and it fits well in there, and works well for me. It is even on sale for $10 right now, so wouldn't cost too much to give it a try. I use a regular, configurable clear tray style for storage and boat usage.
