It took a little doin' but I was able to find a couple of streams with the perfect stain on them. I got out Friday and today. I was surprised to find some of the streams in my area still unfishable but the ones I fished had hungry fish!

Friday night (6-9pm) saw caddis flying around but fish didn't take notice until around 8pm. I fished a tungsten beaded nymph under an indicator. Nice fish came out of every deeper hole or run at first. Later fish were stacked in the riffles.

Today was hot! Temps and fishing. Same deal as Friday. I expected the stream I fished today to be a little more clear but with the intensity of the sun the stain definitely helped me.

I got out for a little while last night and today. We had a decent little rain storm roll through yesterday afternoon which left the streams in my area running a little off color. Flows are still a little higher from the last few storms and it looks like we'll have good water going into late summer/early fall! Skies were partly cloudy both days and temps were comfortable in the low 80's.

Fish took SJ Worms and the Pink Squirrel of Prey. They were in deeper pools and sitting on the bottom. Last night I landed an 18 and a 20 out of the same pool as well as a really skinny one around 17 or 18.

Today The SJ Worm took all the fish I landed. A buddy came along and landed most of his fish on a white spinner. We hiked in a ways but probably could have done just as well staying closer to the car. Great day to fish thoughThumpUp
