Hey folks,

I'm heading back to Viroqua for a couple days after moving out to Boston from Minneapolis 3 years ago. I can't tell you how much I miss the Driftless. I'm wondering what colors/types/sizes of terrestrials are good for the West Fork of the Kickapoo. I've been tying up some Moodah Poodahs (http://www.flyfishfood.com/2015/05/the-moodah-poodah.html) one of my favorite new patterns. I was thinking of tying some Morrish hoppers and Slim Jim hoppers, thoughts?

Moorish Hoppers, in smaller sizes (10-14). Always a good bet, especially if the wind is blowing a bit.

No. But, these are some I tied up last winter. I need to find better leg materials. The banding rubbed off on some these while tying them up. The Pink bellied ones worked really well on a couple of outings last summer.

Always good to carry an assortment of colors, shapes and sizes.

Brown Trout love Hoppers!

I have had success with the carnage stonefly. It's not a hopper but it works well.
