River was chocolate yesterday after the rain. Fishing was best early in the morning, but it was still good all day despite the rough conditions. I'm guessing that other rivers in the Fennimore area are blown out including the Blue River.

Good to see the Big Green producing nice Trout again. It's been off for a couple seasons now. What were they biting on?

There are solid fish in that river! I haven't caught a 20 yet but I have in previous seasons. They were taking heavy nymphs sizes 14-20 dead drifted along the bottom. I attached a pic of the patterns that have been working well for me all season. As I was leaving the river I met two guys spinfishing the muddy water with spinner baits and they said they caught about 30 between the two of them. I wasn't counting how many I caught but probably close to 20. Most fish were under 12 and about 4 or 5 were similar in size to the one in the picture. Hopefully the water will clear up a little before next weekend. The river fishes best with a little stain to it, but yesterday it got very muddy.

I can't see the pics but that's cool you found a few there.

I couldn't even find fishable water last time there a year ago. It was all choked up with weeds.

Nice looking fish!

You might want to consider resizing your photos before linking to the hosting site. The DTA website does not automatically resize images. I've found 1024 x 768 fits well on most screens and doesn't overrun the window.
