Oh man did we have a hell of a weekend. Ron got a 20" brown and a 16" brookie on the same weekend, and between the three of us, we had a half dozen 15+ brooks, another dozen fat ass 14s, tons of over 12s, and a couple of the fattest 15-16" browns I have ever seen. Ron and Sasquatch both caught PB brookies...I didn't manage to eclipse my 17, but I heard someone else caught a 17.5 halfway across the state on saturday...
Internet is out at my house, but I'll do a photodump whenever i get a chance.

Small sample of fish caught on "Shebs and Sasquatch Fishing Bender"
Four days of camping all over Wisconsin, fishing from gentleman's dawn (aka noon) til dusk and drinking too much around the campfire til the wee hours...That's just how we roll

UserPostedImage

The first 15 of the weekend...caught Friday morning by Ron.

UserPostedImage

FAT ass brown - 16", she had to be pushing 4 pounds...
UserPostedImage

We released 90% of what we caught, but if there was blood, they became dinner...
Definitely poured one out for the 15" brookie at the bottom of this pic...must have brained him - he was hooked in the roof of the mouth, no blood, but was belly up instantly after the hook came out. Wish I could have released him, but he was delicious Drool
UserPostedImage

New Personal Best (non-lake run) brookie for Sasquatch - just a hair above 14.5"
UserPostedImage

Not sure what this face is, but my guess is that I was saying "wowwww" after yanking a 14 out from under the barbed wire
UserPostedImage

Most entertaining fish of the weekend - Sasquatch snagged his lure in that log jam...walked right into the hole to use the rod tip to work it free...and immediately hooked a 14" brookie with exactly zero line out from the tip. A new dink and dunk record!

All of these fish were caught in streams we had never fished before LOL
GO EXPLORE - you never know what you might find.

I put on some miles and found a 17.5 inch Brookie in a long time favorite trophy spot, I’ll post some pics when I get done at work.

I want to see a Sunday morning fishing show: "Fishing Adventures With Sasquatch." Jack Links could be the sponsor...

It's out there...gotta be willing to hike, sweat, get bug bitten, and take a few skunks to find it though.

It’s very, very difficult, especially on the top end, but they’re out there. Long, difficult walks always help.
