$9.2 million grant to DARE from the USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Services.

Great 4 state usage of federal dollars for US!

Why no mention of that?

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!ThumpUp

Stan...

Something positive happening doesn't eliminate the bad things that are happening nor does it mean that we should be less vigilant in our awareness of the threats that could impact the Driftless or other area fisheries.

If you'd like to highlight a positive thing that has happened, by all means, start a thread.

I guess I didn't realize a thread titled "Merry Christmas" would be exclusive to negative things.
In fact, I would have thought "Merry Christmas" would have been a good thing thread.

My bad!
Am I embarrassed!

Oh well, "Merry Christmas to all!"

Agreed Stan. It was exciting to see that RCPP announcement. I know Jeff Hastings and all the rest of the TUDARE crew work hard for the benefit of our natural resources.

And regarding the Stepp appointment to the EPA, ugh. Not a surprise though.

Thanks to everyone who sold out our most precious natural resources out last year with their vote. Thanks! Copper mining in a water rich environment. What could go wrong?

Yep, because everyone voted with outdoors and solely outdoors on their mind, right? They don’t care about the deficit, the economy, healthcare, etc? Chill out...
