I know there is a lot of activity scheduled for "TrapFest," but do any of you have other plans?

I will hit 3 of my favorites Sunday;

The Blue (seeking Frank the FishBlink )
Otter
Allen

If any of you see a salt covered jeep, that's me.

What are your plans, if any?

Good luck, all the best,

Stan b & Elvis

I will be out in the same general area, but I'm not naming names. Flapper Laugh

It's possible we may cross paths although I never really know where I'll end up.

Oftentimes I have a plan and then I stop somewhere else "for just a bit" and never leave and the day takes a left turn.

All I can say for sure about Sunday is that I'll be out there somewhere.

Saturday's plans are more in stone as I'm only going out for a bit, closer to home due to the weather.

I plan to get out Sunday somewhere in or around pierce county. Saturday is looking too cold to bother making the drive only to fight a frozen reel all day.

I’ll get out somewhere in St Croix or Pierce County on Sunday

I'll be at the campground building Saturday afternoon/evening tying flies (or what passes for fly tying with my hands). No plans to fish, too cold. But I might drive around a bit and see what things look like. Wish I could stick around into next week - looks like the weather is going to warm up nicely (for January).

-13 in my truck this morning. I'll be happy if I can find open water and maybe see a fish.

Same small/medium streams that were open on Monday (or whenever I went out looking) were wide open yesterday afternoon. Not even shelf ice.

Bigger water was still frozen over.

You'll be able to find open water.

Getting the fishcicles to bite will be the challenge.

I'm not fishing today, but for those of you who are it might be one of those days where you catch one fish, call it a successful day, and then go climb a high stool and talk about fishing.
