Which of course feeds into the Kickapoo, and so forth.

Am I the only one who thinks it’s stupid that the farmer responsible for a spill is responsible for cleanup? Hire someone to do it right and send a bill. Maybe they’d take it more seriously. Obviously these people don’t care. They’re operating without a permit.

Wow, when is the government going to come to its senses and actually enforce the laws? In a just world, the operation would have been shut down July 31, 2017, when the permit expired.

It's all about money. Clean and safe water comes second.

Wisconsin State Journal story here.

"The rule change now goes to Gov. Scott Walker and the Legislature, where the Wisconsin Dairy Business Association has been lobbying for weakened rules that would be less costly for farmers."

I guess that means bad news for the brookies in the creek above the lake then... Shame. Caught some nice fish above there.
