My approach has always been to ask if the fly tyer intends to stick with it. If the answer is yes, save a little longer and purchase a vise that will last you years and has what you personally want in a vise. Personally, I prefer Dyna-King vises. They are built exceptionally well and will last forever. I have a Ultimate Indexer and it has served me very well. I can honestly attest to their quality as I am one of 8 people world-wide that is a member of they Pro Team. Please look into them, you won’t be disappointed.
