Started out very slow on the first stream today. 1 fish in 30 minutes of fishing so I moved over a few valleys and into another stream. Fishing was solid and the water low and clear. 28 fish to hand in 2.5 hours. Even with the recent snow melt walking in the snow is still rough at best! I played around with my GoPro and got some underwater still images.

Cool on the GoPro.

I have one and have been working up to trying it in trout water. Not afraid to or anything - it's just another distraction.

Have it for scuba/snorkeling and it's great for that.

So you took still shots by pressing the button for each one?

I plan to try some video.

One thing that can be done with GoPro video is going through it frame by frame and finding sharp frames and then doing a screen capture, creating a photo.

Many frames are blurry as video blends these with the sharp ones and your eye doesn't notice it.

It does work though and gives you a lot more frames to chose from.

I should try the burst feature too, but haven't yet.

Anyway... like the underwater shots.

Gurth, they were still images taken from the video. Like you said you can just pick a frame you want.
