I've been working to update my website and compile some useful reference information. First page is up in time for those who would like photos and hatch information for BWO's. Great stuff.

Those nymphs pictures relating to a #16ish pheasant tail make me think of what I usually throw. Technically it's a #14 scud hook but I usually don't cover a lot of the shank so the amount of 'bug' material is probably more like a #16. I assume it looks like anything from a scud or whatever other kind of bugs are around in the water and perhaps it's BWO larvae too.
