Maybe I need PP for the 15s...

I use FC on a lot of my bass rods, anywhere form 6 to 20 lb, and have learned that Fluorocarbon can be really picky about which knot you use, and that's accentuated if it's lighter line. A regular clinch knot has horrible knot strength on fluoro. When I first started using Fluoro, I tried using my usual Trilene knot, and sent a few rather spendy bass crankbaits into near earth orbit...

I use a knot called the San Diego Jam. Easy to tie and the knot strength is excellent. There are others that work as well.
