The loss of two weeks of prime Trout season has not depleted any inventory at your local fly shop

If you care to have a fly shop open next year, support them in the coming weeks.

BTW
Real cool flies have recently arrived like a thinner version of the Hippy Stomper

All fly shops need your support now

Thanks, Trapper, for the advise. I won't be up there until the first weekend in May, but I'll give them a call today and make an order now to pick up then.

I pushed my four day spring Driftless Area trip to next week because of the lousy weather. I have a feeling I won't be the only one out there. Hopefully all this warm weather in the forecast will knock out the snow quickly and the streams will be back to near normal by mid-week. Also hoping for a nice bloom of Caddis and BWO hatches with the clearing water.

Got a list of things to pick up at the Driftless Angler too.
