Get to know some people and network. My best buddies don’t know most of my favorite spots and no freaking way am I putting them on an indexed website.

I’ve broken bones finding new fishing spots. No offense but they’re not showing up here for all to see.

Finding them on your own is half the fun.

You missed Upper Giraffe Creek and Spring Creek (not that Spring Creek, the other one. It's the one by the Olson farm, just past the intersection with the red barn.)

Don't forget Trout Creek, Bear Creek, Elk Creek, Cold Creek, Willow Creek, and Beaver Creek! (Not that one, nope not that one either, that OTHER one)

I get to fish every once and a while. Haha

WI Driftless is amazing. My best advice would be to get to know some DTAers and go fishing sometime.

I do not look at it as a secrecy issue. All the streams are on the map and most in books too. I do not give out public info on streams, counties or places because I earned it through sweat and effort.

Now if I do get a chance to fish with others, I sure as hell am not going to a shitty place to fish. hahaha Exploring is the best part of fishing, some streams are great all the time. Some great streams suck sometimes.

Happy Fishing!

Alright... Here’s a realistic guess on my part, at least for WI and MN, of the best known stuff. These are all extremely well known so none of you should be offended, and if you are, you’re terribly misguided. They all get crowded but they can all still fish extremely well at times
Black Earth Creek
W Fk Kickapoo
Timber Coulee
Coon
Rush
Kinnickinnic
Namekagon
Bois Brule

Whitewater
Hay Creek
S Br Root
Beaver
Camp
Willow

Anything beyond that, go explore. The best spots I’ve ever found aren’t terribly well known, I’ll put it that way. Don’t follow the crowds and expect an insanely good day. That’s what Salmon fishing is for😂

I'd add the 2nd South Branch of the 3rd North Branch of the 4th East Branch of the West Fork of the Kickapoo to any list as well.
