yeah. my dog and i spent 20 minutes digging ramps and got like a dozen ticks

two deer ticks were stuck into his leg that i discovered that night. found a pea sized bastard near his junk 2 days later

it was right around time to give him his monthly tick/flea treatment

he has a lyme vaccination but don't know how effective it is

Weather forecast looks wet and wild. Better bring your rain gear.

I'm actually looking forward to fishing water with some stain to it. All my outings this year have been on crystal clear water with spooky fish. Might be time to break out those crayfish patterns I tied over the winter and see if I can get a Gurth class Brown Trout to come out and play.

Thanks, Trapper, for putting TrapFest together again for us. Too bad about the rain, but we were dry and snug under the shelter. Too bad more of the promised attendees didn't show up, but The salmon boil on Friday was awesome; my first Wisconsin fish boil. Thank you, vmthtr in Green Bay!
